MATTHEW BATTERSBY
With over 30 years of experience and thousands of clients, Matt specializes in Family Law, Real Estate Law, Business Organization, Civil Litigation, and Municipal Law. He served our country as Sergeant in the US Army 104th Armored Cavalry. Matt was admitted to the PA Supreme Court, US District Court Middle District Harrisburg, and US Federal Claims Court. He has tried matters before all levels of judicial system including complex matters before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth, Superior and Supreme Courts. Previously, Matt served as the President of Adams County Bar Association, Chairman of the Board of Franklin-Adams Easter Seals, Member of Board of Directors of Washington DC Easter Seals, Member Oversight Board of Adams County Children Youth Services, and Member of the Board of Directors of Legal Services. And is currently an adviser the the Littlestown High School Mock Trial Team. He has a B.S. from Indiana University, a J.D. from Southwestern Law School and is a Diplomate from Cambridge University Anglo American Law. 
LUANN BATTERSBY
Joined Battersby Law Offices in 2013. Luann specializes in planning for wealth management through wills & trusts, guardianship for children and the elderly, probate and estate management, and real estate law. She was admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals, DC Courts, and United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has a Bachelors in Food Science from Penn State; Masters in Biomedical Studies from Hood College; Masters of Health Science in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health; Juris Doctorate from Georgetown Law Center. 
JOAN SANDERS
A native of Chambersburg, PA who has lived in Fairfield for over 30 years.Joan is the first friendly voice you will speak to when you call Battersby Law Office. Joan is a graduate from the Massey Institute in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing/merchandising. She joined the team in 2004. Joan primarily handles Family Law; assists Pro Se clients to fill out Divorce/Custody paperwork; Wills and Powers of Attorney, Estates and PA LLC/Corporation filings, and also Business Organization collections. Joan is currently the President of Penn Hall Alumnae Association and also serves on the Pippinfest Committee. |
